The Northern Ohio Chapter's Team In Training® (TNT) program
offers a 16- to 20-week daily training schedule designed for everyone from
novice to advanced athlete. Seasoned coaches provide you with the training
and information necessary to cross the finish line of a major endurance
event, healthy and proud!
Our knowledgeable and accessible coaches work with you on form, nutrition
and apparel so that you are ready to do your best on race day. To learn
more about our sports programs, please

here. Your mentor, a former team member, offers moral support
throughout the program. Your honored teammate, a local child or adult
survivor of a blood cancer, motivates you to continue training and excel at
your selected event.
In return, you have the opportunity to help LLS succeed in its mission.
When you meet or exceed your fundraising goal, The Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society says "thank you" by providing race registration, round trip
airfare, hotel stay, pre-race pasta dinner and post-race victory
celebration for event weekend.
Don't miss this opportunity to experience the rewards of completing an
endurance event while helping cure leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. To
register today for an upcoming information meeting, please complete our
Tell Me More form.

When Ed Stone joined Team In Training at age 26, he had
already learned the hard way that "what doesn't kill you
makes you strong." As a young college student, he was
diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia, a cancer that
nearly ended his life. It took a risky bone marrow
transplant to save him. During the next 13 years, he
battled and persevered through two additional types of
cancer.
As if battling cancer weren't enough, at the same time, Ed
trained with TNT for no less than 12 events, including
marathons, half marathons, century (100-mile) bike rides
and eight triathlons!
"Cancer and the challenges of treatment taught me a few
things about endurance," said Ed. "When I learned I could
train with TNT and raise funds for cancer research to help
others, there was no stopping me."
Ed is living proof of the "mind-body connection." He has
beaten cancer and evolved into a world-class athlete. He is
the living answer to the question: "I wonder if I could do
an endurance event?" And the answer is, with "Team In
Training, yes you can!"
