Participants of all athletic levels are supported in achieving the ultimate goal of running or walking a half or full marathon, or taking part in a triathlon or cycling event. In exchange for unsurpassed endurance sports training and support, you raise money to help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society find cures for leukemia, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma. Elisa has been in remission for 12 years from Hodgkin's Lymphoma. In her own words: "I have been volunteering for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for a while, I enjoy it very much. I love performing, being on stage is my home away from home. I would love to go to Broadway or become a singer, if all fails a motivational speaker or an oncologist pediatric nurse. I'm a twin and adopted from South America."
