Welcome to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Long Island Chapter Team In
Training (TNT) Web site. Have you ever thought of running or walking a
marathon, cycling a century ride or completing a triathlon? Imagine traveling
to exotic locations to complete your goal. As a Team In Training (TNT) member,
you will raise funds in honor of a local blood cancer patient. In return, we
will cover all entry fees, transportation and lodging costs to the event and
provide a professional coach to help you train for the race of your life.
The Long Island Chapter will begin training for the following fall events this

Francesca was diagnosed on January 21, 2003 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
We are so happy to announce that she finished her chemotherapy in July 2005 and
has been cancer-free since! After 2 1/2 years of treatments (that's 900 days!)
at Stony Brook University Hospital, she is thrilled to be living life like any
other 8 year old.
Join her family in supporting Team In Training and finding a CURE for other
patients just like her.
