Welcome to the Central Ohio Team In Training Web site!

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training® is the world's largest endurance sports training program. The program provides training to run or walk marathons and half marathons or participate in hiking adventures, triathlons and century (100-mile) bike rides. Since 1988, more than 390,000 volunteer participants have helped raise more than $950 million.

By helping to raise funds for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma research and patient services, you'll receive:

  • Personalized fitness training by certified coaches for a period of four to five months, sport specific training clinics and support, and a personalized training calendar. 
  • Fundraising support, including your own personal web page for online fundraising.
  • A supportive group of teammates and a connection to the cause through our honored hero program. 
  • Lodging and airfare for Team In Training participants for their event.

The Capital City Half Marathon- Columbus, Ohio (Saturday, May 1, 2010)- Join us for a 13.1 mile block party....The 7th Anniversary of this annual celebration of fitness in the City of Columbus will be the biggest and best one yet. The course is an unbelievable tour of downtown Columbus, the community involvement is incredible and the finish line party in the parking lots of Nationwide Arena is second to none.  

Country Music Marathon & 1/2 Marathon- Nashville, Tennessee (Saturday, April, 24, 2010) With 50 local bands playing live on 28 entertainment stages, the Country Music Marathon &1/2 Marathon will rock Nashville in a city-wide party. Jazz, country, rock ?n? roll, swing and more will pulsate the course and get you to the finish line.  Runners and walkers are now treated to a more scenic route, extending their run down Broadway past the honky tonks, the Schermerhorn Symphony Center and back up Demonbreun passing the Country Music Hall of Fame and the restored Cummins Station.

St. Anthony's Triathlon- St. Petersburg, Florida (Sunday, April 25, 2010)- As the fist major race on the U.S. calendar, St. Anthony's Triathlon has kicked off the triathlon season in North America for the past 25 years.  On race day participants will swim through the brisk waters of Tampa Bay, bike along glimmering waterways and quiet harbors and run through picturesque neighborhoods and pass cheering spectators.  The event culminates with a festive waterfront awards party featuring live music and great food.
