Welcome to the Iowa Chapter's Team In Training® (TNT) web site. 

TNT is the world's first, best and largest endurance sports training program providing first timers to seasoned athletes the opportunity to acheive their best while running or walking a marathon or half marathon, cycling a 100-mile century ride, or completing a triathlon.  This unique program provides you with the coaching, training, teammates and amazing travel destinations to make your athletic goals a reality. 

In exchange for training and support, you will help raise money to support our mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.  Money raised through TNT helps support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society researchers as well as patient services and education programs locally here in Iowa. 

In the past 20 years, more than 390,000 TNT participants have raised over $950 million to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!  Are you ready to team up with us for a lifesaving cause?

• BMO Vancouver Marathon & Half Marathon - May 2, 2010
• Rock N Roll Marathon & Half Marathon (San Diego) - June 6, 2010
• America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride (Lake Tahoe) - June 6, 2010 
• Hy-Vee Triathlon (West Des Moines) - June 13, 2010

Now more than ever, the need is critical:

• Every 4 minutes one person is diagnosed with a blood cancer.
• Every 10 minutes someone will lose a life from a blood cancer.
• Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young adults under the age of 20.
• An estimated 912,938 people in the United States are living with, or are in remission from a blood cancer.
