Team In Training® is the world's largest endurance sports training program. The program provides training to run or walk a whole or half marathon, cycle in a century ride or participate in a triathlon. Since 1988, more than 295,000 volunteer participants have helped raise more than $800 million.

We're now forming teams in Vancouver and the Fraser Valley to train for the following events:

SPRING SEASON (training begins Dec.6/7, 2008)

Country Music Marathon & Half Marathon (Nashville, TN run/walk: full/ half) April 25, 2009
BMO Bank of Montreal Vancouver Marathon (Vancouver, BC run/walk: full/half May 3, 2009

Honolulu Triathlon (Hawaii: sprint/olympic distances) May 17, 2009

By helping to raise funds for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma research and patient services, you'll receive:

  • Fitness training by certified coaches for a period of four to five months
  • Training clinics
  • Your own personal Web site for online fundraising
  • A supportive group of teammates
  • Lodging and airfare to more than 60 accredited events in Canada and the United States.

Swim 1.5K, bike 40 more and then run 10K. For non-swimmer Valicity "Visa" Lattimore, who hadn't ridden a bike for years, it seemed impossible. Yet she completed her first Olympic-distance triathlon after training with TNT for just 15 weeks. The inspiration? Her son, William, now 9 years old, an acute lymphocytic leukemia survivor who says he's "thankful to be alive" and thankful to mom and everyone who participates in Team In Training.

- Valicity Lattimore, William's Mom
