| Brent Chambers, Bellingham Marathon Coach | ||
"My very first program with Team In Training® was in 2001 when I completed the Maui Marathon. If it was not for the TNT program I know that I would not have been able to complete the training on my own. The knowledge and support that I receieved from being a TNT participant has been invaluable to my success as a runner, and it has taught me about myself as a person. TNT is a program to help you succeed in training, but more important it is here to raise money to help find a cure for cancer and save lives."
| Brent Evans, Seattle Marathon Coach | ||
"I became involved with Team In Training in November 2003 as a participant. I enjoyed my experience as a participant and successfully completed my first marathon in London, England in April 2004. I enjoyed being a member of the team so much that I immediately signed up to be a mentor for the fall season. This gave me the opportunity to help participants accomplish both their training and fund-raising goals. I was asked to be an assistant coach for the spring season. I could not resist and am grateful for the opportunity. I coached the Spring Season as an assistant coach and ended up back in London in 2005. I have since coached two additional seasons with Team and Training and am now looking forward to my fourth."
| Casey Selfridge, Eastside Assistant Marathon Coach | ||
"Welcome to Team In Training! I have been involved with TNT for six years now and have completed nine marathons and three triathlons with TNT. I have been a brand new participant who couldn?t run around the block let alone 26.2 miles, I have been a mentor who has helped with fundraising and I have also been a staff member who has answered countless questions about the program. As a coach I hope to draw upon all of these experiences in order to help you complete your goal of completing your event.
We have a very exciting season planned for you. The coaches and staff have worked hard on this program to ensure we get you to the start line healthy and full of confidence. Thank you for taking on the challenge of Team In Training. Your commitment to help raise funds to ultimately find a cure for blood cancers is continually inspiring. GO TEAM!"

You have chosen to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families. Many will never have an opportunity like this one."

| Glen Weissman, Seattle Marathon Coach | ||
"Over the years, several friends and relatives have participated in TNT. My role then was to provide moral support and donations. It was a great feeling. Now I am honored to have the opportunity to participate directly. I have been running for about 20 years. My first marathon was the Seattle Marathon in 1998. I only planned on running one marathon until I crossed the finish line. Since then, I have completed 10 marathons including winning the Pacific Shoreline Marathon in 2003 and 2004. But I don't run to win. I run because I enjoy it. I will continue to run as long as I am having fun. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals. Most of all, I want you to have a positive experience throughout the training and during the big event."

| Jeff Russell, Seattle Marathon Coach | ||
"I have been with Team In Training® since 1999 as a participant, mentor, captain, and coach. I have trained for and completed 13 marathons and have coached nearly 300 Team In Training® participants to marathon success. I am very excited to be a part of the Team In Training® coaching team and can't wait to see you achieve your goals. I think it is incredible to watch people surprise themselves at what their bodies can do. I know of no better reason to train and push your body beyond its normal expectations that to do it for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society."
| Jim Edwards, Bellingham Cycle Coach | ||
"This is my 4th year of involvement with Team in Training and what a great experience it has been. I have thoroughly enjoyed everyone involved with TNT including coaches, participants, mentors, office staff and honor patients. It has been an honor for me to be associated with such fantastic people - I've made new friends and become an avid cyclist and cycling advocate. My mom died of acute lymphocytic leukemia 11 years ago and I began as a participant in el tour de Tucson in honor of her and all those still fighting the battle. I've acted as a mentor in the past and this year I am excited to be coaching a team in Bellingham - training for STP."
| Jim Pollock, Seattle Marathon Coach | ||
"I joined the track team in high school and found my way to the position of anchor- man in the 440 relay. Life, family and work put running on the back burner for twenty some years. Then in 1998 I joined Team In Training to take on the Honolulu Marathon. This was a huge step up from the 440 relay! The experience was unbelievable! Upon returning from Hawaii, I set the goal of 10 marathons (262 miles!) with Team In Training. I have been a participant, Mentor, Mentor Captain and a Coach! Having had the fulfilling experience of coaching, I am looking forward to helping make your dream a reality!"
| Joanna Zagelow, Bellingham Triathlon Coach | ||
"Last year, I was one of the triathlon coaches for the first Bellingham Team In Training triathlon team ever. That team participated in the Honolulu Triathlon. Two years ago, I participated in the Maui's King Trail Triathlon, which was awesome.

Mary is dedicated to helping others improve their performance and reach their goals.
| Mike Wakabayashi, Spokane Marathon Coach | ||
"I get a feeling of extreme satisfaction from helping my team members get through their first marathon or half marathon. I can watch them go from couch potato to athlete in several short months. My biggest thrill is helping them kindle a desire to create a lifestyle they will pursue for the rest of their lives. I don't consider their participation in TNT as a one-time experience, but rather as the beginning of a new, active lifestyle. The race is not always to the swift, but to those who keep on running."

"I have participated in many races, but the experience I have had with Team In Training® has been the pinnacle of them all. The fulfillment and satisfaction I have received from running for others in need has been nothing I could have ever imagined. I thank you for finding the courage to commit to this prgram, for fighting for otehrs and allowing me to sahre this special part of yoru life. It is truly the first step that is the most difficult. Be prepared to sweat, laugh, cry, reach out and be reached out to. Step back, dig deep, and hold on. I guarantee you that you will be a newly invigorated and changed person when you cross the finish line."

If you have a pulse, at least one healthy arm and leg and the willingness to truly test yourself out on the road, we can make you a triathlete."
| Zack Daniels, Seattle Marathon Coach | ||
"I have completed 9 other marathons, 5 of which were with TNT. Being on a marathon course is amazing enough but when you are affiliated with TNT and wearing the purple, the event is an astounding and moving experience. Support rains down from TNT coaches and participants all around you and there is no shortage of fun and excitement. My connections to leukemia and lymphoma were limited when I began with TNT but it was not long before I was overwhelmed with reasons to remain in the program to further the pursuit of a cure."
