Team In Training offers runners and walkers the opportunity to take on the challenge of a marathon or half-marathon and make a difference in the lives of an estimated 912,938 Americans living with or in remission blood cancers. Along with a customized-training program and expert coaching, participants will train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration. The Big Sur International Marathon
: April 25, 2010 - Big Sur/Carmel, CA
Run or run/walk 26.2 miles
Described as "spectacular, rewarding, mystical, and unforgettable", the Big Sur International Marathon takes you along the California coast with staggering views of the Pacific Ocean. The course is defined as much by scenic points, picturesque coastal bridges, and idyllic state parks as it is by mile markers. The event is loved by first-timers and experienced endurance athletes alike and should prove to be a truly amazing event weekend experience.
Travel days are Friday, April 23rd through Monday, April 26th.
BMO Vancouver Marathon and Half Marathon
: May 2, 2010 - Vancouver B.C., Canada
Walk or run 13.1 or 26.2 miles.
The BMO Vancouver Marathon and Half Marathon is full of entertainment, sights, and north of the border charm. A relatively flat course for both the half and full marathon races, participants are treated to a rowdy starting line on Pacific Boulevard that quickly gives way to peaceful miles along the Vancouver shoreline and through beautiful Stanley Park. The course loops back to an outstanding finish line for all participants at GM Place, the home of the Vancouver Canucks and 2010 Olympic hockey.
Vancouver is a city with natural beauty, cosmopolitan flair, and a world renowned marathon and half marathon. Event weekend is an annual hit with TNT participants and 2010 should be the best yet.
Travel Days are Saturday, May 1st - Monday, May 3rd.
