Karen Headley, Deputy Executive Director

Karen has been with LLS since July 2002 and has served in many roles with the organization including TNT National Manager.  Karen grew up in Richmond, VA and returned to the area in 2007 after living in the Washington, DC area for ten years.  She was thrilled to join the VA Chapter staff this past summer and will be managing the TNT program as well as the Light The Night campaign for the state.   Karen graduated from The University of Virginia with a marketing degree.  A TNT alum herself, she loves meeting new participants every season.

Kate has been with LLS since January of 2011 and is the Campaign Coordinator for the Richmond, Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, & Roanoke Teams.  Kate is a native of Richmond, VA and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography.  She has run numerous races up to the half marathon distance and is aspiring to participate in her first full marathon with Team In Training soon.  She loves art, outdoor recreation, and her family.

Josh joined the TNT staff on June 1, 2010.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science with a concentration in Athletic Training from Frostburg State University and a Master of Science in Education degree in Athletic Training Education from Old Dominion University.  Josh became involved with TNT and LLS a little over a year ago when he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin?s Lymphoma.  He began volunteering in June of 2009 as an honored patient for the Seagull Century Ride cycle team for South Hampton Roads Virginia.  Josh continued his volunteer efforts by training for and completing his first marathon as a TNT participant, the 2010 Shamrock Marathon in Virginia Beach.  TNT and LLS hold a very special place in his heart and he thanks everyone involved with this organization for their selfless dedication to the mission. Josh currently manages the Southside & Peninsula Teams as well as our FLEX Team.
