Purpose of the TNT
Mentor Program
The purpose of TNT Mentor program is to provide
ongoing support for all Team In Training® (TNT)
participants so they are able to meet their fundraising and
training goals and complete the program with a high level
of satisfaction and success.
Goals and Objectives for Each Team In Training
Participant
-
Raise at least the designated minimum of funds
-
Attend at least 75 percent of the coach-led training
sessions and other team events
-
Complete the target event
-
Experience a sense of team spirit and
camaraderie
-
Feel supported in accomplishing these goals
-
Receive one-on-one attention throughout the
program
TNT Mentors are integral to the realization of these
goals. To make it possible for mentors to assist
their participants and perform their responsibilities we
make every effort to limit the size of groups to 10-15
participants per mentor. We also attempt to
match mentors with participants by geographic area.
Please note, however, that due to team size and make up,
this may not always be possible.
To Be Eligible for a Team Mentor Position, You
Must:
-
Be a TNT alumni of the sport you are choosing.
-
Have met or exceeded your fundraising goal.
-
Have successfully completed a TNT endurance sports
event.
