Marathons, half marathons, century rides and triathlons are celebrations of the human spirit, physical ability and mental endurance. But for members of Team In Training^® (TNT), they are also celebrations of life.

The mission of TNT is to use running, walking, run/walking, cycling and triathlons as symbols of endurance and hope. Funds raised are used for research to help find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma,  and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

The Marathon Program: Run, Run/Walk and  Walk

Our chapter trains runners, run/walkers and  walkers for 26.2-mile marathons or 13.1-mile half marathons. One in every 15 marathoners nationwide is part of Team In Training. Team members receive a comprehensive and personalized training schedule based on the individuals physical abilities and personal goals. In addition, team members receive advice on nutrition, stretching and proper fitting of shoes and apparel.

The Cycle Program

The Upstate New York/Vermont TNT cycling program ensures participants a safe and enjoyable 100-mile ride.

The Triathlon Program

The triathlon program incorporates swimming, cycling and running  into a comprehensive training program to prepare team members for an olympic distance triathlon (.9-mile swim, 25-mile bike and 6.2-mile run).
