Becoming a Team Mentor is a great way for alumni to become more involved with Team In Training and the Society.  Team Mentors are given the unique opportunity to receive a rewarding experience of mentoring others in their pursuit to cure blood cancers.  In recognition of the time and commitment they invest in their participants and in the Team In Training program, Team Mentors are welcome to participate with the Team in one of the following levels.  The fundraising discount is a benefit and should not be a motivation for being a Team Mentor.

Fundraising Team Mentor
Team Mentors receive up to  a 30% discount off the fundraising minimum. Once you have reached your minimum, the Society will pay for your race weekend activities including airfare, hotel, pasta and victory party tickets, race entry, bike shipping for cycle and triathlon and wetsuit for triathlon.

Non-Fundraising Team Mentor
Team Mentors  may also choose not to participate in an event during their season as a Team Mentor.  This is an option for those who want to mentor a team; however, do not want to participate in an event.  In this case, they will still be expected to attend all weekend trainings, host buddy workouts, host team socials, and maintain weekly communication with team members.
