Welcome to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Southwest Florida Chapter Team In Training^® (TNT) Home Page!

                        RUN. WALK. CYCLE. TRIATHLON 

TNT is the largest sports endurance training program in the entire world.  The program provides training to run or walk marathons and half marathons or participate in hiking adventures, triathlons and century (100 mile) bike rides.  Since 1988, more than 380,000 volunteer participants have helped raise more than $900 million.

We invite you to attend one of our upcoming information meetings in January to kick off 2009 for the following events:

Rock 'N' Roll Marathon® San Diego: Run/Walk, 5/31/09 San Diego, CA

Our knowledgeable and accessible coaches will work with you on form, nutrition and apparel so that you are ready to do your best on race day! Your team captain and fundraising mentor, former team members, will provide you with moral support throughout the program. Your honored teammate, a local child or adult survivor of a blood cancer, will give you the added motivation to keep training and to push hard on the day of the event.

In return, participants have the opportunity to help LLS succeed in its mission:  to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and to improve the quality of life of our patients and their families.

 Qualifications:

• Commitment to the mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
• Works well with people of all athletic abilities
• Friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Previous Team In Training experience is preferred, but not required
