"Her speech is very inspiring. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. I'm thankful for my wonderful family. Also, I'm thankful for being able to give back to the community, like raising funds for LLS."

"Thank you so much for sharing. What a wonderful story. I am so thankful for the privelege of being able to take care of my patients. It is truly an honor and I learn so much from them every day. They teach me what it means to be human."
Dani T, Cure On Wheels 2010
"Sue is obviously incredible. I hope this encourages many many many more to commit to funding and finding a cure!"

Jessica E, Nation's Triathlon 2010
"When I was 9, my father passed away of lung cancer and I was too young for him to take me through every step, every symptom, every struggle and every success. To say that I am humbled is an understatement. I am honestly grateful that TNT and LLS came into my life this year. Beyond the Nation's Tri, I met people who make me realize that life is good and be good and giving to those around you. I am thankful for you."
"After reading Sue's letter, I only have the up most respect for her. She is one strong lady. May the Lord always be at her side. You never know why one person suffers so much, but I have a feeling God is using her to show us the way. I am just happy to be healthy and to be able to enjoy time with my family. The rest of the stuff is just glitter...pretty to look at but not what counts."
Martha O, Disney Wine & Dine 2010
Rochelle M, Disney Wine & Dine 2010
"I honor the strength of you and the rest of your family because when a loved one is struggling the entire family struggles. Illness is so difficult because it's out of our hands."
"I am more thankful than I realized I would be or that I thought I could when I signed up to be a part of Team In Training and to run the Women's Half Marathon. I am thankful for the laughs, support, encouragement, and help I got from my teammates, coaches, and captains. I am thankful I have the ability to run 13.1 miles and raise money for such a good cause. I am thankful I can do it all with a smile, knowing I'm a part of helping to find a cure so the very real stories I've read about and heard about can, one day, be a thing of the past."
Monica I, Women's Half Marathon 2010
"Thank you for sharing your story; it really puts life in perspective. I am thankful for my children, family and friends. I am thankful for my health and that I can get up everyday."
Chris L, Cure On Wheels 2010
"I am thankful to be a part of Team In Training and that I am able to pay forward the goodness and love that has always been given to me."

Coach Teresa
"I am thankful for all the wonderful people I have met on my journey with TNT. Not just athletes, staff and honored teammates but also for all of the people that have helped in other ways. The kids who donated their babysitting money or helped sell candy to reach a fundraising goal. The child who went around his neighborhood asking for spare change, the people who cheer us on at our events no matter what the weather is like. The random stranger that throws $5 in and the many others who have donated time and money to help the rest of us reach our goals. It has been such a wonderful experience working with so many people all dedicated to not only finding a cure for this horrible disease but people that are, in general, dedicated to doing good."
"I am thankful that my friend, whose little boy has Leukemia, invited me to join her to be part of TNT and do the Disney Wine & Dine race. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life in so many ways. Reading Sue's letter just made me even more grateful that God gave me not only the ability to run the race but to raise the money needed to research for a cure. I recently lost my own mom and I am thankful for her spirit that never complained and also taught me to believe that no matter what happens in life, God will help you through."
Gail H, Disney Wine & Dine 2010
"I am so sorry to hear that Sue is not doing well. She is a wonder and loving person! We bonded from the very first time we met. It was so touching to read her speech. Although I was not present when she gave the speech, I can feel the love, emotion, and humore from her words. Sue, you will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Looking forward to when we can do the Electric Slide together again!"
Norma V, Women's Half Marathon 2010

"Life is such a precious gift that, in our day to day lives, we take for granted. I want to express my appreciation and gratefulness to have had the chance to get to know many of you on different levels. Remember, that we, as a TEAM, have gotten this far and have given, sacrificed, and endured more than most would ever dedicate or commit to. Yet, we don't endure nearly as much as those battling any and every disease. Be thankful and remember that your hard work has given someone a new life because we are working for a cure."
"I am thankful for life and for the people who work at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I am thankful for my family, friends, doctors, and all who have touched my life."
Debbie M, Nike Marathon 2010
"Thank you for sharing! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I am thankful for my friends and family, especially my princess, Akira. They are strength and I know that my mom is carrying me through each and every day. Without her as my angel I would not be able to accomplish the things I have. I am also thankful for the Team In Training as I know that we ARE saving lives on mile at a time!
Jenn S, Disney Wine & Dine 2010 & Disney Princess 2011

I am lucky to be married to the most loving and supportive husband and we have two incredible sons we love so much and are so proud very proud of. I am thankful for the opportunityu to honor much-loved family AND help others in need of a cure by running/walking with my Team In Training teammates."

"Thank you for sharing. You've been through a real ring of fire. Keep your chin up and stay strong. I believe that to get to heaven you must go through hell first. Those whom stick it out will be rewarded and your prayers answered. Best of luck."
"I was very touched reading Sue's speeach and thinking how hard the fight is for everyone facing these horrible diseases. As everyone who has been touched either personally or through a family member knows, hope is a driving force. The hope that the next day, or the next dollar, or the next doctor will discover the cure. That is why our work is so important. As for me, I guess I am thankful for the joy my grandchildren bring. I am thankful for the beauty of our world. I am thankful for friendships. I am thankful for knowing inspirational people. I am thankful for the opportunity to help others. I am thankful for the help others have given me. I am thankful to watch the sun rise, and I am thankful for my health. I am thankful for everyone who unselfishly give of themselves so others may prosper. I guess you can say I am thankful for life. But it is the people like Sue that I am most thankful for becuase you give me the comfort and belief that together we will win and there will be generations of people who will never face an unwanted goodbye."
George F, San Diego 2010
"I am thankful for my family, friends, young and old, and the times we spend cooking, drinking, laughing, having great catch-up conversations and playing games. I am thankful for military members, like my son, and all the sacrifices they have made (and continue to make) so we can live the life we choose. I am thankful for all the opportunities we have and all the dreams that continue to come true. I am thankful for people like Sue that help us keep things in perspective and constantly remind us what is important."
James W, Disney Half Marathon 2011, Gasparilla 2011
"I am so very thankful for people who love helping people! Without them, there would be so much less happiness in the world. I hope you get better soon, Sue!"
