Jennifer Pearce

I started with Team in Training in 2003 after reading a magazine article about how TNT trains ordinary people for endurance events.  I had always wanted to run a marathon, but had no idea how to go about training for one and thought this would be a great opportunity to accomplish a personal goal and give back to the community at the same time.  I completed my first event with Team in Training in February of 2004, the Motorola Marathon, in Austin Texas.  Since my first season with TNT, I have completed 3 half marathons, a century ride, and a triathlon.  Did I say that I LOVE TNT!  Recently I was blessed to expand my passion for this cause and became a full time employee of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in April of 2007.  I have always said that a person should truly love what they do, but this is the first time that I can honestly say it myself.  This position gives me the opportunity to work with amazing people everyday and truly make a difference in the lives of people in my community. I couldn't ask for anything better.
