Team In Training offers runners and walkers the opportunity to take on the challenge of a marathon or half-marathon and make a difference in the lives of an estimated 894,543 Americans living with blood cancers. 

Along with a customized-training program and expert coaching, participants will train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration.

 
Team In Training^® (TNT) is currently recruiting walkers and runners for the following events. Please note that participation in a TNT event is subject to the local availability of group training and transportation arrangements. Rock 'n' Roll Marathon & 1/2 Marathon -  San Diego , CA - 5.31.2009

The 2009 Rock 'n' Roll Marathon presents the same great course as last year. The 26.2 mile course begins in Balboa Park , runs through Hillcrest and skirts the San Diego Zoo. Runners take an expanded tour of downtown featuring Petco Park , the historic Gaslamp Quarter, and the San Diego Harbor . Following the downtown excursion, the course travels up beautiful Highway 163, and races by the bayside communities, Sea World and ends at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Point Loma. The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon will finish in a secured area at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) in Point Loma. Participants receive water, other refreshments, and a finisher's medal. The Finish Line Festival features live music, refreshments and food, and one well-deserved complimentary beer.

Rock 'n' Roll Seattle Marathon & 1/2 Marathon - Seattle , WA - 6.27.2009  The event is expected to draw between 15,000 - 20,000 runners and walkers and feature over 70 live bands along the marathon and half-marathon courses. Both courses begin at Foster Golf Links in Tukwila.  Participants will run along the shores of Lake Washington before taking in beautiful views of Puget Sound and downtown Seattle .  Both courses will finish outside of Qwest Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks. After the race, reunite with family and friends in the Family Reunion area and relish in your post race accomplishment with refreshments and live music at the finish line stage.
