Marathons & Half Marathons

marathons
Team In Training offers runners and walkers the opportunity to take on the challenge of a marathon or half-marathon and make a difference in the lives of over 894,543 Americans living with blood cancers.

Along with a customized-training program and expert coaching, participants will train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration.

Upcoming Marathon & Half Marathons

The Southern New Jersey/Shore Region Chapter's TNT program will soon be recruiting walkers and runners for its 2009 Summer Season. Don't forget to fill out our online
Tell Me More form to let us know you're interested!

Country Music Marathon and Half Marathon April 25, 2009 - Nashville, TN
The 10th annual Country Music Marathon & 1/2 Marathon will start in Centennial Park and run through Nashville's most scenic sights. 50 bands on 28 entertainment stages and hundreds of high school cheerleaders will entertain runners, walkers and spectators alike. Country, rock, jazz, blues, swing and more will pulsate every mile on the course. Music will continue into the night as the Sommet Center in downtown Nashville will host an incredible post-race concert.

The New Jersey Marathon and Long Branch Half Marathon
May 3, 2009 - Long Branch, NJ
Run through the diverse neighborhoods and business districts of our Host City, Long Branch, and neighboring Monmouth Beach!  The 2-loop course, which proved to be very popular in its debut year of 2006, is fast and flat with great scenery and an oceanfront start and finish.

Rock n Roll Marathon
May 31, 2009 - San Diego, CA
The Rock n Roll Marathon was the largest first-time marathon in history.  The 26.2 mile course begins in Balboa Park, runs through Hillcrest and skirts the San Diego Zoo. Participants take an expanded tour of downtown featuring Petco Park, the historic Gaslamp Quarter, and the San Diego Harbor. Following the downtown excursion, the course travels up beautiful Highway 163, and races by the bayside communities, Sea World and ends at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Point Loma.
