RTC 2012 Viva Bike Vegas Gran Fondo
Las Vegas, NV - September 22, 2012
100 mi. bike
It's the Tour de France Vegas-style and the only ride that takes you through the Strip and entire Las Vegas Valley from the heart of Sin City to the edge of Hoover Dam and the vistas of Red Rock Canyon.
About the Cycle Team
TNT provides a noncompetitive, comprehensive program to prepare you for an endurance cycle event. The program is designed with the busy person in mind, so most weekday workouts are 45-90 minutes or less, with longer workouts on the weekend.
We will assess your ability at our early rides and then place you in a ride group that fits your comfort level on the bike. Each ride group has riders of similar pace, a coach, and ride support. You?ll receive individual training for your ability and the safety of riding in a group.
Our Silicon Valley Cycle Team trains in and around Los Altos, Cupertino & Portola Valley.
Skill & Ability
TNT welcomes all levels of experience. Our training program is designed to turn the beginning cyclist into an endurance event finisher and help seasoned riders meet their training goals.
What's Next?
- Registration: When you sign up, your registration fee helps LLS pay for your first six weeks of training. This registration fee is also applied towards your fundraising goal and gets you started early.
- Kickoff (for local teams, May 19 for Peninsula & South Bay teams, May 20 for Monterey & Santa Cruz teams): Meet your teammates, coaches and staff for the first time at Kickoff. Your first coached workout will take place the week after Kickoff.
- Commitment (about six weeks after Kickoff): This is your opportunity to assess your progress. At this time, you make the decision to either stay on the team and finish your training and fundraising, or withdraw from the team with no further obligation.
