Join The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training® (TNT), the world's largest sports training program, and cross the finish line of a cycling event, triathlon, hike adventure or full or half marathon.

You'll accomplish something truly amazing while helping hundreds of thousands of Americans who are battling leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Nike Women's Half Marathon: A Race to Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
San Francisco, CA - October 18, 2009

Walk or Run, Half Only (13.1 miles)
The event will kick off in downtown Union Square and continue through the financial district past Coit Tower, then along the SF Bay past Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Aquatic Park, Fort Mason, the Marina Green's Harbor, and more, while exposing breathtaking views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. Run or walk into Golden Gate Park and along the stunning Great Ocean Beach will usher you to the finish line.

Big Sur Half Marathon
Big Sur, CA - November 15, 2009
Walk or Run, Half Only (13.1 miles)
This run or walk along the "Edge of the Western World" showcases the many iconic sights  of the world-renowned Monterey Peninsula.  The gently rolling course winds through historic downtown Monterey, along Cannery Row, and proceeds along Pacific Grove's coastline with incredible views of the Monterey Bay.

 

Santa Barbara International Marathon
Santa Barbara, CA - December 6, 2009
Run Only (26.2 miles)
Located in Southern California's "American Riviera," this course begins in Goleta Valley among lush lemon and avocado orchards, winds through Santa Barbara's picturesque Mesa community, and finishes with a stunning two-mile descent to the sparkling Pacific Ocean.

 


Honolulu Marathon
Honolulu, HI - December 13, 2009

Walk or Run (26.2 miles)
The Honolulu Marathon starts on Ala Moana Boulevard, which in Hawaiian means "path by the ocean." This phrase is an appropriate description for the entire race course. At the Starting Line is Ala Moana Beach Park, a local recreation area encompassing over 100 acres of park, beaches, swimming and surfing spots. As the last mile of the course curves around Diamond Head toward the finish in Waikiki, the route passes Cliffs, a popular surfing spot, and the Diamond Head Lighthouse.

Solvang's Finest Century
Solvang, CA - November 14, 2009
Cycle Century Ride (100 miles)
The event starts and finishes in its namesake, Solvang, a quaint, Danish village with excellent hotels, awesome restaurants, window shopping, real shopping, horse-drawn carriages, parks, people in costume, wine-tasting, vineyards, and lots of fun things for the whole family to see and do. Riders will experience the very best of the Santa Ynez Valley and then head out to points beyond.

 


UMC 27th El Tour de Tucson presented by Diamond Ventures
Tucson, AZ - November 21, 2009
Cycle Century Ride (111 miles)
El Tour de Tucson in November is the largest "perimeter" cycling event in the country.  This event is the premiere century ride in the United States and boasts great weather and beautiful scenery. This is a ride for cyclists of all abilities. The course features two dry river bed crossings, traffic control over the entire route and a generous number of route stations.

Big Kahuna Triathlon
Santa Cruz, CA - October 25, 2009
Half Ironman distance. (1.2 mi. swim, 56 mi. bike, 13.1 mi. run)
Swim, bike and run on this coastal course that boasts breathtaking views of the rugged California coast, lighthouses and a dramatic finish at the main stage of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

 


Marin County Triathlon
Marin County, CA - November 1, 2009
Olympic Distance (.93 mi. swim, 24.8 mi. bike, 6.2 mi. run)
Set up your gear while being serenaded by a Parisian accordionist, follow the bagpiper along McNears Beach, and dance into the final stretch to the beat of a steel drum band. The Marin County Triathlon was voted the #1 green event for 2008 by Triathlete Magazine.

Hike Tahoe Rim Trail
North Lake Tahoe, NV - September 26, 2009
Hike the Tahoe Rim Trail and explore new heights with Team In Training! We'll take you to some of the most scenic parts of the Tahoe Rim Trail, which forms a loop that traverses the ridgeline of Lake Tahoe's crown of peaks. This spectacular trail offers breathtaking views of the lake as it winds its way through the Sierra Nevada and Carson ranges of California and Nevada. September is also considered the best hiking month, so this is sure to be an amazing trip!

 


Ironman Distance Triathlons


Vineman Triathlon
Sonoma County, VA - August 2010
Full Ironman Distance (2.4 mi. swim, 112 mi. bike, 26.2 mi. run)
The Vineman course is a tour of Sonoma County vineyards & wineries, which passes through five distinct regions. The swim takes place at Johnson's Beach in the Russian River, one of the most rustic swim venues you'll see in the sport. The bike course is a mix of terrain, and travels through the Russian River, Dry Creek, Alexander Valley, and Chalk Hill grape growing regions. The three loop, out-and-back, run course takes the athletes from the finish area through the back roads of Sonoma County.
