The Silicon Valley & Monterey Bay Area Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training (TNT) program and Equinox Fitness of Palo Alto are proud to introduce a premier indoor cycling event: Race to Anyplace.  Race to Anyplace is an indoor spin-bike competition that is sure to be fun and challenging for individuals of all fitness levels and guaranteed to have great weather!  All funds raised from this event will directly benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

EVENT DETAILS

• Compete as a team or as a solo rider 
• Event registration fee: $65
• All riders will receive an event tee shirt & goodie bag

• Team Challenge (3-5 riders)- Male, Female, Co-Ed Categories
  $50 Gift Card to Equinox Fitness*
• Corporate Challenge (3-5 riders)
  $50 Gift Card to Equinox Fitness*
  2 Free Personal Training/Pilates Sessions per rider pairs (2 riders)
  $50 Gift Card to Equinox Fitness*
  1 Free Personal Training/Pilates Session per rider
• Solo Challenge- Male & Female Category
  $50 Gift Card to Equinox Fitness*
  2 Free Personal Training/Pilates Sessions
• Top Fundraiser (awarded to top fundraising individual/group in the above categories)

TEAM CHALLENGE

• Teams of 3-5 or pairs of 2 compete in a spin relay for the most mileage in a 4-hour time period
• Teams will rotate riders every 15 minutes 
• Each team has the opportunity to raise funds through online donations and/or sponsorships
• Prizes are offered for teams recording the highest mileage
• Prizes awarded to the individual/team that raises the most money

SOLO CHALLENGE

• Solo riders compete for the most mileage in a 2-hour time period
• Solo riders are allotted a 10 minute break after the first hour
• Each rider has the opportunity to raise funds through online donations and/or sponsorships
• Prizes are offered for the Solo Female and Solo Male recording the highest mileage
• Prizes rewarded for the individual/team that raises the most money

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

1:00pm - Race Registration Opens

1:20pm - Race Rules and Announcements

1:30pm - Race To Anyplace Begins!
For group competition, every 15 minutes a switch is called...riders be ready!

2:30pm - Solo Competition 10-minute break

3:30pm - Solo Competition Ends

4:00pm - Solo Competition Results and Awards Ceremony

5:30pm - Racing Ends and Final Mileage Reviewed

5:45pm - Official Race Results and Winners Announced

EVENT DAY GEAR

Provided:

• Stationary bikes
• Pedals that support SPD and LOOK clips and toe cages for those who are riding in tennis shoes
• Water and water bottles for all riders
• Snacks
• Restrooms, changing rooms, showers will be available

Please Bring:

• Appropriate workout clothes (bicycle shorts are suggested but not required)
• Electrolyte replacement drink
• For team riders, sweatshirt/jacket suggested for break between heats
