Anchorage

AK, March 8. 25 km., 40 km., or 50
km. The Tour of Anchorage is part of the American Ski Marathon
Series (ASM), North America's longest-running and largest citizen's racing
and touring series. The Tour of Anchorage marathon consists of four
cross-country ski races?25k classical, 25k freestyle, 40k freestyle and 50k
freestyle. The course begins at various locations across Anchorage, follows
groomed trails through spectacular wooded settings along the coast of Cook
Inlet, and finishes up at Kincaid Park. This year, the tour will be host to
the U.S. Masters Cross-Country Ski Championships and you'll get to see the
first day of the Iditarod race the day before your
event!

West," the Kaiser Permanente Napa Valley Marathon has earned a
reputation for outstanding runner support, attention to detail, and
a beautiful point-to-point
course. Finish line closes six
hours after start of
race.

Maritona di Roma: Rome Marathon
Rome,
Italy, March 22. 26.2 mi. run,
walk or run/walk. Held in March, when nice days exceed hot
days and the herds of tourists haven't arrived yet, the Rome
Marathon begins in front of the 2,000-year-old Coliseum and races
past sights such as Saint Peter's, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza
Navona and the Spanish Steps. Aside from some cobblestones in old
Rome, this course is surprisingly flat for a city built on seven
hills.

throughout the season with your friends and family there to support you.

26.2 mi. run). Swim in the Ohio River under beautiful bridges
with historic steamboats docked along the riverbank. Bike through the green
hills of Kentucky's horse country and have a spectacular finish at 4th Street
Live, a lively pedestrian area in downtown Louisville. This Ironman features
great fan support along the way and a special festival on the bike course in Le
Grange.
