Team Honored Heroes
Each Team In Training® participant can train in honor or memory of someone from their personal life who has been affected by cancer. Participants can also train and fundraise in honor of a local team honoree who is a blood cancer patient or survivor.
Shelly West
Shelly was diagnosed with Acute Myelocitic Leukemia on February 1, 2008. She is currently in remission! Shelly is a Management Analyst and loves gardening, traveling and playing with her dogs. She also loves running with Team In Training and is completing her fourth straight season with TNT. As an Honored Teammate, Shelly hopes to share her experience as a patient and as a TNT alumni so that people will see what their participation can mean. Shelly offers these words of encouragement: "Training is hard; chemo is harder!"
Hadley
Hadley was diagnosed with Acute Lymphomablastic Leukemia on April 29, 2010. She is in maintenace therapy until August 2012. As an Honored Teammate, Hadley hopes to teach and educate other people about Leukemia and be a positive light in her recovery that research works!
Kilian
Kilian was diagnosed with T-ALL on July 30, 2010. He is in remission, but in treatment until late 2013. As an Honored Teammate, Kilian wants to meet new people and make them smile. He wants all TNTers to know that they are dynamite!
Chad
Chad was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on September 7, 1999. He is currently in remission! As an Honored Teammate, Chad will encourage the TEAM to successfully complete thier endurance events! He wants the TEAM to know that it is not how fast you get to the finish line, it is completing the race that is important.
Dominga Sanchez

Dominga was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 1994. She has been in remission for 14 years! She offers these words of encouragement: "DETERMINATION: I was determined to fight, determined to bear cancer, determined to pay it foward. And I did it!" And you can too.
Jean Domalain
Jean was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in October of 2000. He is in remission! As an Honored Teammate, Jean hopes to support the team towards their event. Jean offers these words of encouragement, "IMPOSSIBLE is not French."
