Team in Training in SC

The South Carolina Chapter of LLS began
offering Team In Training 16 years ago.

Since then, over 3,700 South Carolinians
have completed an endurance event and
and have raised more than $13 million for LLS!

Don't miss the opportunity to experience the reward of completing an endurance event while helping accelerate cures for blood cancer!

Who?
Training schedules are design for the novice to advanced athlete.  Our knowledgeable and accessible coaches will work with you on form, nutrition and apparel so that you are ready to cross the finish line of a major endurance event. Where?
Teams train in Columbia, Greenville, and Charleston.

When?

Training seasons begin in January, May, and August and last 4-5 months.  Teams meet at least once a week for group runs led by experienced, certified coaches.

Why?

Every four minutes, someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer.  Every ten minutes, someone dies from a blood cancer.  Participants of Team in Training support LLS's mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families by raising funds for LLS as they train.

Each team trains in honor of an honored hero - a local child or adult who is receiving treatment or is in remission from a blood cancer. This connection to LLS's mission gives participants the added inspiration needed to keep training and to push towards the finish line.

Once participants meet or exceed their fundraising goals, LLS says thank you by covering their race registration, round trip airfare and hotel stay for event weekend!
