Team In Training offers runners and walkers the opportunity to take on the challenge of a marathon or half-marathon and make a difference in the lives of an estimated 912,938 Americans living with or in remission blood cancers. 

Along with a customized-training program and expert coaching, participants will train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration.

Team In Training (TNT) is currently recruiting walkers and runners for the following events. Please note that participation in a TNT event is subject to the local availability of group training and transportation arrangements. Please consult the TNT staff at your local chapter for additional details.

Nike Women's Marathon & Half Marathon - A Race to Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - October 18, 2009 in San Francisco, CA
Run or Walk; Full 26.2 miles or Half 13.1 miles

The Nike Women's Marathon provides a spectacular race course that takes in some of the most breathtaking sites in San Francisco. The race kicks off in downtown Union Square, winds through the financial district past the Transamerica Pyramid building, then along San Francisco Bay, past Fisherman's Warf, Ghirardelli Square, Aquatic Park, Fort Mason and more. It then proceeds through the Presidio, along the shoreline, out the Richmond District to the Great Highway.  The course continues through Golden Gate Park and then south for a circle around Lake Merced and back to the Great Highway, where it finishes at a spot overlooking the incredible Pacific Ocean.

Corelogic Cowtown Marathon - October 4, 2009 in Sacramento, CA
Run or Walk; Full 26.2 miles or Half 13.1 miles

You're sure to love this course which starts off in William Land Park and winds through the beautiful neighborhoods
of Land Park then takes you along the Sacramento River and back into William Land Park. Full marathoners will complete the loop course twice which will allow you to enjoy the live music twice as much!
