Rocky Mountain Team Hero Program
Miles for a Mission
Rocky Mountain Chapter Team Heroes are all ages and come from all walks of life. They provide inspiration and support to Team In Training® (TNT) participants throughout their training season(s). A Team Hero is anyone who is being treated for, or a survivor of, leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma or myeloma. Families or friends who have lost loved ones to a blood cancer may become involved by permitting TNT participants to take part in memory of that individual.
Team Heroes are asked to share their strength and courage with runners, walkers, cyclists, triathletes and hikers training in their honor.
Each training season lasts for approximately four to five months. The Team Hero program will allow you to build a community of new friends who are helping to find a cure. This program directly links participants to the Society's mission. The participant's struggle to train is symbolic of the Team Hero's struggle with the disease.
Team Hero recruitment is under way! We're always looking for more people to join this unique program. If you have any questions or are interested in becoming a Team Hero, please contact:
