Team In Training offers runners and walkers the opportunity to take on the challenge of a marathon or half-marathon and make a difference in the lives of an estimated 912,938 Americans living with or in remission blood cancers. 

Along with a customized-training program and expert coaching, participants will train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration.

Team In Training (TNT) is currently recruiting walkers and runners for the following events. Please note that participation in a TNT event is subject to the local availability of group training and transportation arrangements. Please consult the TNT staff at your local chapter for additional details.

Moab and Music Double Header Challenge

Canyonlands Half Marathon    Moab, UT - March 20, 2010
The USATF certified and sanctioned course starts approximately 11 miles up scenic Hwy. 128 and parallels the mighty Colorado River into Moab. The course continues on Hwy. 191 and through the streets of Moab to City Park and the finish line.  The course is closed to traffic from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM with traffic control at the intersection of Hwy 128 and Hwy 191.  There are water stations and restroom facilities at the starting line and aid stations are located every 2 miles along the course.  Aid stations will have Gatorade Endurance Formula, water, port a-potties and Clif Shots, the official energy gel of the Canyonlands Half Marathon.  The race also features a finish area expo and post-race massages.   

Country Music Marathon and 1/2 Marathon      Nashville, TN - April 24, 2010
Runners and walkers are treated to a scenic tour of the Music City.  Past course landmarks have included Centennial Park, the Frist Center for the Arts, the honky tonks of Lower Broadway, the Schermerhorn Symphony Center and the Country Music Hall of Fame.  50 bands on 28 entertainment stages and hundreds of high school cheerleaders will entertain runners, walkers and spectators alike.  Country, rock, jazz, blues, swing and more will pulsate every mile on the course.  Music will also continue into the night with an incredible post-race concert.  Past performers have included Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Jo Dee Messina, Diamond Rio, Brad Paisley and Phil Vassar.  The course is well supported offering water at over 20 refreshment stations along with Cytomax and GU Energy Gel products.

Rock 'n' Roll Marathon    San Diego, CA - June 6, 2010
This event is the original Rock 'n' Roll Marathon.  Here you will find perfect running weather (low 60's is the average temperature at the start), 45 live bands, 2000 spirited cheerleaders, 19 themed aid stations that will energize you start to finish, personalized race bibs, a fast, scenic course ideal for runners and walkers alike and a FREE headliner concert.

Steamboat Springs Marathon & Half Marathon      Steamboat Springs, CO - June 6, 2010
Selected by Runner's World as one of the "10 Most Scenic Marathons of the Year," (February 1996).  Named in the November/December 2006 issue of Colorado Runner Magazine as the Best Marathon of the Year for 2006!  The USATF full marathon certified course begins at historic Hahns Peak Village, follows a paved country road down the Elk River Valley and finishes at the courthouse in downtown Steamboat Springs.  Starting elevation is 8,128' and the finish elevation is 6,728'.  The USATF half marathon course begins at the mid-point in the marathon course locally known as Moon Hill at an elevation of 6,990' and finishes at the same location as the marathon, in downtown Steamboat Springs.

Rock 'n' Roll Seattle Marathon & 1/2 Marathon      Seattle, WA - June 26, 2010
Join us for the 2nd Annual Rock 'n' Roll series marathon and half marathon in Seattle, Washington.  The course, which is a Boston qualifier, features 70 live bands performing a variety of music - from alternative to classic rock, punk, funk and blues to jazz it up.  The bands set the tempo for this 26.2 and 13.1 mile party, where runners and spectators alike will be "Dancin' in the Streets" to these mini-concerts.  Then, let the fun continue!  Join your family and friends at the Finish Line Festival.  Enjoy live music and refreshments outside of Qwest Field and a post race headliner concert.  Mild summer temperatures, beautiful scenery and an eclectic music scene are a perfect fit for the Rock 'n' Roll Seattle!
