Marathons & Half Marathons

Team In Training offers runners and walkers the opportunity to take on the challenge of a marathon or half-marathon and make a difference in the lives of an estimated 1,012,533 people in the United States living with, or in remission from, leukemia, Hodgkin lymphoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma or myeloma.

Along with a customized-training program and expert coaching, participants will train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration.

Team In Training (TNT) is looking for walkers and runners for the events listed below.

Please note that participation in a TNT event is subject to the local availability of group training and transportation arrangements. Please consult the TNT staff at your local chapter for additional details.


 

The Maine Marathon

September 30, 2012 (Portland, ME)

Walk or Run. Half (13.1 miles) or Full (26.2 miles) Marathon.

Beginning in the beautiful inner bay of Back Cove, you'll head out along the scenic Maine coastline past MackWorth Point and Martin's Point Bridge then through the rural neighborhoods of Yarmouth on the return to Portland. Enjoy views of stately homes and fresh ocean air of this spectator friendly event that is perfect for the whole family!

The Nike Women's Marathon, A Race to Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

October 14, 2012 (San Francisco, CA)

Walk or Run. Half (13.1 miles) or Full (26.2 miles) Marathon.

Join 20,000 women as we race together through the streets of San Francisco to raise funds and awareness for LLS. The course takes you past classic sites, including San Francisco Bay, Ghirardelli Square and the Golden Gate Bridge! Walk or run the full or half marathon. And don't worry: there are no cable car hills. Men are also welcome...but ladies first!
