Here are some ways you can help get people interested and involved in the BEST fitness training program in the world!

Post TNT on your Facebook Page.  Let your friends know how they can get involved.  Join the Palm Beach TNT Facebook group, post a link to the TNT video, post a link to the TNT home page and become a fan. 

Send an email to people you know!  TNT programs are all over the country- so don't worry about where someone lives, just get them involved!  Copy and paste the following paragraph or write something of your own:

"Most of you know I participated in a program called Team In Training for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  I trained for (insert event information here).  Well, it truly was a rewarding, life changing experience and I encourage you all to check it out for yourself.  TNT is recruiting for upcoming events and training will start soon.  They are hosting information meetings and a kickoff where you will get all the information about fundraising and training.  You will find all the inspiration you need to join the team!  Coaches and staff will talk to you about how you can train to either walk or run a half or full marathon, complete a triathlon or 100 mile bike ride.  Honored Heroes, who are local blood cancer survivors, will share their story of how the money raised in TNT help them survive and how TNT volunteers give them hope for cures in the future.  It really is an incredible program and if you have ever even given thought to doing an endurance event (and YES you CAN!)- contact the TNT staff, they can give you all the information you need to know.  Check out their website at www.teamintraining.org or call 888-482-TEAM (8326).  I hope you will consider sharing this amazing experience with me!" 

 Host a TNT House Party!
House parties are a useful fundraising and recruitment tool.  They allow you to communicate a message in a casual, friendly atmosphere and to pique people?s interest in a subject without making them feel pressured. Your house party won?t be that different from any other party, except that it will have a specific purpose; i.e., to get guests to register to participate in Team In Training.  For those who attend, the party will take the place of a Chapter Information Meeting. 

You would invite 10-15 guests/prospects, which could be friends, family, neighbors, co-workers or professional contacts who you think would be receptive to doing TNT.  You will host the party with the help of a TNT Staff Member.  TNT will provide all of the informational materials, some gifts for the guests, and even a stipend to cover the cost of refreshments!

 **Remember our Refer-A Friend Discount Program!  If you recruit anyone to TNT and they successfully complete the program (both the fundraising and event), TNT will take $100 off of your fundraising minimum PER PARTICIPANT!!!!  What a great incentive to host an evening at your home!

Host an information meeting at your workplace
Do you think your office might be interested in learning more about the Team In Training program?  A corporate team for a TNT event would be a great way to create an amazing team building experience for your employees and co-workers and promote wellness in their lives!  And the TNT staff would be more than happy to bring the info meeting to you!  If you can round up at least 5 people, we will hold a personal, 45 minute info meeting in your place of business.  We'll even bring some snacks :)  So if you're looking for a way to link your company to a worthy cause and let your co-workers in on the TNT experience, shoot us an email.

And PS- The Refer-A-Friend $100 discount will still apply!  So for every co-worker you bring to the local TNT program, that's $100 off your minimum!!!!

Hang Flyers
anyplace will do!  Download our most recent flyer, cut on the perforated lines at the bottom and hang it up.  If everyone hung just ONE, we could have them up over 1,000 places.  The best places are at work, community mailboxes and starbucks.  here are some other ideas:

hospitals (nurse boards, etc)
auto dealers/ lube places
ymca's
libraries
Your dr or dentist office
Grocery stores (especially Whole Foods types)
The dry cleaners
Your neighborhood clubhouse
apt complex mailbox or bulletin board
Your favorite coffee shop
Your kid's daycare/ preschools
church center
anywhere they let you!
