Welcome to the Oklahoma Chapter's Team In Training ® (TNT) Web site.
How often do you get the chance to make a difference in the lives of thousands of people as you are transforming your own? TNT - the world's largest endurance sports training program - gives you that chance.

Train with us to walk or run a full or half marathon, cycle a century ride or swim, bike and run in a triathlon. We provide all the support and inspiration you need. And we help you raise needed funds for important research in the fight against leukemia, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma.

You don't have to be young, a great athlete, or an experienced athlete to join the team!  Your efforts can affect the future of all Americans battling blood cancers. All you have to do is choose your sport, choose your destination and choose to make a difference with TNT.  Get ready for the time of your life; join the team today!

Training
Each team will have a coach who will train you to successfully complete a marathon, half-marathon, 100-mile century bike ride or triathlon. Teams train together on a regular basis, usually on the weekends. In addition, the teams meet once a month to discuss training and fundraising issues. Guest speakers are brought in to discuss proper clothes and shoes, nutrition and other aspects of training.

Fundraising
Each team member is asked to raise a set amount of money to participate in their preferred event. Fundraising minimums vary for each event and are based on the costs associated with that event. Funds raised will support The Society's programs in research, patient aid and education. More than 75 cents of every dollar raised goes directly to the mission. The Society's staff will provide you with the materials and information you will need to meet and exceed your fundraising minimum.

Patient Honoree Program
Each Team In Training participant is paired with an honored patient. Your honoree is someone from your local area whose life has been affected by a blood cancer. By honoring a member of your own community and hearing his or her story first-hand, you will be able to understand the extreme value of your efforts.
