Marathons/Half Marathons

The Team In Training marathon and half marathon program is runner and walker friendly. A typical week includes four 30-to-60-minute workouts, which can be done on your own or with teammates, and a coached workout on Saturday.

Saturday will be your long mileage day. To ensure your success you will be broken out into pace groups to work with a coach catering to your speed and goals.

Training start times range between 6:30am-7:30am. We have three marathon teams/training sites to choose from:

  • Irvine Marathon Team - trains out of Irvine

  • Dana Point Marathon Team - trains out of Dana Point; NEW TRAINING SITE for our Fall 2012 events!

  • Inland Empire Marathon Team - rotates training sites between Riverside, Rancho Cucamonga and Redlands

  • Temecula Marathon Team - trains out of Temecula
