 Welcome to the Orange County/Inland Empire Chapter's Team In Training ® (TNT) website!

 

What: TNT is the world's first, best and largest endurance sports training program, providing first timers and seasoned athletes the opportunity to achieve their best while running or walking a marathon or half marathon, cycling a 100-mile century ride, or completing a triathlon or hiking adventure.  This unique program provides you with the coaching, training and motivation to make your athletic goals a reality! In addition, you'll travel with your teammates to amazing travel destinations for an incredible event weekend experience.

 

Why: In exchange for unsurpassed endurance sports training and support, you raise money to help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) find cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

  • Every 4 minutes one person is diagnosed with a blood cancer.
  • Every 10 minutes someone will lose their battle with a blood cancer.
  • Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young adults under the age of 20.
  • An estimated 912,938 people in the United States are living with, or are in remission from a blood cancer.

  • Rock 'n' Roll San Diego? Marathon and 1/2 To Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - June 6, 2010

Voted Best Race and Best Post-Race Party by Competitor Magazine, the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in San Diego is a unique event that combines running with entertainment.  This flat, scenic course features live music at every mile and over 2,000 screaming spectators cheering you to the finish line... in the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon series you are the headlining act!

 

  • Rock 'n' Roll Seattle Marathon and Half Marathon - June 26, 2010

The mission: to rock Seattle!  The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in Seattle is a marathoner's nirvana... featuring ideal running temperatures, in the mid-60's, beautiful scenery, and a live, local band and high school cheer teams at every mile... it is a 13.1 or 26.2 mile party!  They'll keep you rockin' all the way to the finish line!

  • Big Rock Triathlon (Olympic and Sprint Distance Triathlon), Lake Perris, CA - April 17, 2010

The Big Rock Triathlon is a local race that features a calm lake swim and a flat out and back run!  Invite your friends and family to come cheer you on, Big Rock Triathlon is onlya short drive from Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego.  Whether you're looking to set a PR at an olympic distance tri or get your feet wet by competing in a sprint distance tri, Big Rock Triathlon is a great option!

 

  • South Maui Triathlon (Olympic Distance Triathlon) - June 13, 2010

Join the TEAM for the inaugural South Maui Triathlon at Wailea which will take place on the tropical Island of Maui.  You will enjoy breath-taking scenery as you swim, bike and run in this beautiful destination.  After your event, enjoy a little shopping, visit Haleakala Volcano, attend a luau, or simply relax on one of Maui's 81 beaches!

 

Century Rides

 

 

  • America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride (72 or 100 Mile Cycle), Lake Tahoe, NV - June 6, 2010

One of the most scenic and awe-inspiring rides you will ever experience.  America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride circumnavigates the highways clockwise around Lake Tahoe in both Nevada and California.  Spectacular scenery, clean mountain air, great food and full support by experienced ride organizers make this ride a 'must do' for any cyclist!

  • Yosemite National Park Hike (Choose a guided hike that matches your level of hiking fitness and desired challenge: anything from a 2 mile hike through the valley floor to an 18 mile hike up Half Dome!) - June 19, 2010
