Marathons & Half Marathons

Team In Training offers runners and walkers the opportunity to take on the challenge of a marathon or half-marathon and make a difference in the lives of an estimated 1,012,533 people in the United States living with, or in remission from, leukemia, Hodgkin lymphoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma or myeloma.

Along with a customized-training program and expert coaching, participants will train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration.

Please note that participation in a TNT event is subject to the local availability of group training and transportation arrangements. Please consult the TNT staff at your local chapter for additional details.

Nike Women's Marathon, A Race to Benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Sunday, October 14, 2012 - San Francisco, CA
Run or Walk: 26.2 or 13.1 miles

This is a spectacular race course for both the full and half marathons.  The race kicks off in dowtown Union Square, winding through the financial district, past the Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiradelli Square, Aquatic Park, Fort Mason, the Marina Green's harbor, and more while exposing breathtaking views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate bridge.  The race will finish by overlooking the incredible Pacific Ocean.

Marine Corps Marathon

Run: 26.2  

This well organized event is called the "Marathon of Monuments" since runners pass many of the nation's most prominent sites, including the Pentagon, Kennedy Center, the Washington Monument, the U.S. Capital, the Smithsonian and the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials, all at the height of atumn color.

Philadelphia Marathon

Great course... great city...great marathon!  With a fast course that winds through the histroric dowtown, past the world- famous Art Museum and along scenic Boathouse Row, the Philadelphia Marathon has been one of the country's permiere running events since 1994.  What sets this event apart is that every inch of this course is steeped in the history and culture of one of America's great cities.

The perfect ending to a magical weekend, The Disneyland Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile journey through the Happiest Place on Earth!  Retace WaltDisney's footsteps during a magical run starting at Disneyland Park before taking runners into Disney California Adventure Park and onto the streets of Anaheim, before a magical finish by the Disneyland Hotel.  Memories are sure to be made on a an experince you will never forget!

Join runners from all 50 states and over 100 countries fo rthis world-class event.  The Bank of America Chicago Marthon is known for its fast and flat course through one of the world's most magnificent cities.  Elite athletes and amateurs alike annually target the race for its potential to general personal, national and world records.  In addition to its speed, the course offers a scenic tour of Chicago and its lively neighborhoods, as well as a convenient start and finish in beautiful Grant Park.  You are guaranteed to see all that is great about the city of Chicago.

Dublin Marathon

The Dublin Marathon runs through the historic Georgian streets of Dublin, Ireland's largest and capital city.  Dublin is home to a quarter of the country's almost 4 million people.  The reaction of many thousands of spectators lining the city streets for the event has been largely responsible for the success of the marathon throughout the years.  It is no wonder that the Dublin Marathon is internationally known as the "Friendly marthon," The course is largely flat and is a single lap, starting and finishing close to the city centre.  Climate conditions in October in Ireland are ideal for marathon running!
