The 62-mile option spans 2 states and 1 mountain. The 25 mile option takes riders across the hilly terrain of 1 state.

Run/Walk

Rock 'N' Roll Marathon
San Diego, CA
May 31, 2009

Rock your way to 26.2!  The Rock 'N' Roll Marathon is a world class running/walking event that features live bands and cheerleaders from start to finish.  The race starts at historic Balboa Park, passes by many San Diego highlights before finishing on Parade Deck in Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Point Loma. You won't be able to miss the Running Elvi as you take in the sights in beautiful San Diego; in 2008 147 men and women ran the marathon dressed as Elvis, breaking the previously held Guiness Book World Record of 46 Running Elvi.  The event wraps up with a headliner concert that in the past has featured bands such as the Goo Goo Dolls, Hootie and the Blowfish, Chicago, Pat Benatar, Sugar Ray, Smashmouth, Chris Issak and Huey Lewis and the News.
