Walk On! Light The Night in Eastern North Carolina
TNT Alumni, we invite you to join LLS for an illuminated evening of hope and remembrance!  Light The Night Walks will be taking place in Raleigh (Oct. 17), Durham (Oct. 22) and Wilmington (Sept. 24) this fall.  We are inviting you and your teammates to come together as "Team TNT Alumni" and join us - and 2,500 friends, families and co-workers touched by blood cancer - on this 2-mile Walk held at twilight as we "light the night" with our hope, and with lit balloons that each walker carries ? red for supporters, white for survivors, and gold for those walking in memory of a loved one lost. To learn more, visit www.LightTheNight.org/nce or to volunteer or Walk, contact Emily Roland at Emily.Edmunds@lls.org. We have a balloon for YOU!

For office volunteer opportunities or Third Party events please contact Suzanne Cresswell at suzanne.cresswell@lls.org or 919-677-3993 x111.

Pennies for Patients® and The Trish Greene Back to School Program for the Child with Cancer are among the many School & Youth Programs that provide help to patients and their families, fund research and increase public awareness of leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood cancers.  If you are interested in volunteering or signing up a local school please contact Jenny Wayne at jenny.wayne@lls.org.

Our exciting Man and Woman of the Year campaign will start with a fun Kick Off event in early April. The ten-week fundraising competition includes candidates from the community and business leaders who are philanthropic, ambitious, socially active, resourceful and passionate about making a difference in the lives of people suffering from blood cancers. Their unstoppable ambition drives them to fundraise in a very large-scale capacity with record-breaking results.  All participants raise funds in honor of the Girl and Boy of the Year. For more information please contact Emily Blust at emily.blust@lls.org.
