Become a Team Captain
Purpose of the Team Captain
Program
The purpose of team captains is to provide ongoing
support for all Team In Training® (TNT) participants so they are
able to meet their fundraising and training goals and complete the program
with a high level of satisfaction and success.

Objectives for Each Team In Training
Participant:
Team captains are integral to the realization of these goals. To make it possible for team captains to assist their participants and perform their responsibilities we make every effort to limit the size of groups to 10-15 participants per team captain. We also attempt to match team captains with participants by geographic area. Please note, however, that due to team size and make up, this may not always be possible.
Goals and Objectives for Each Team In Training Team Captain:
Welcome each participant to the teamWeekly communication with participants on teamFundraising support, encouragement and guidanceOrganize team social gatheringsAttend team captain orientation, at least 2 information meetings, kick-off, a fundraising workshop, at least 75% of coach-led training sessions and all parties associated with given event
To Be Eligible for a Team Captain Position, You Must:
Be a TNT alumni of the sport you are choosing Have met or exceeded your fundraising goal Have successfully completed a TNT endurance sports event

- Zooma Annapolis Half Marathon - Annapolis, MD
- Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon - Philadelphia, PA
