Abby joined The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in June of 2005.  She is originally from Indiana, graduating from Indiana University with a BS in Business Administration with a minor in Spanish.  She moved to Charlotte in 2004 to venture out of Indiana and try somewhere warmer.  She has completed Tri Latta in 2004 and Wilmington YMCA Triathlon in 2008 and is currently training for the Myrtle Beach Half Marathon in 2010.

Gwen Romeo joined The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in September of 2009. Gwen graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing. She worked for an event marketing agency in New York City which is where she first learned about Team in Training. She has since completed three 1/2 marathons with TNT - the NYC 1/2 marathon, the NIKE Women's Marathon and most recently as a South Charlotte Team Mentor for the Inaugural Seattle Rock-n-Roll Marathon. She is thrilled to be a member of the LLS staff and is looking forward to many events with Team In Training in the future. Gwen is very passionate about the LLS mission and intends to share it with anyone that will listen. In her spare time she enjoys singing with her band and spending time with her dog Grey. Gwen loves to challenge herself and hopes to complete a full marathon, century ride and triathlon someday.

Asheville

Lynn joined The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in July of 2007.  Originally from Pennsylvania , Lynn moved to Nashville in 1992 to attend Vanderbilt University , where she earned a Masters in Human Resource Development.  In the spring of 1997, she joined TNT and completed the Mayor's Midnight Marathon in Anchorage .  In 2004, she joined up with TNT to run the inaugural Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco and then served as mentor for the 2005 Country Music Marathon. Upon moving to the Asheville area, she signed up with TNT once again and ran the 2006 Marine Corp Marathon. In the summer of 2008 when the Asheville coordinator position became available, she jumped at the chance to officially join TNT as she is strong supportor of both the mission and goal of the program.  In her spare time, she continues to run, swim and bike and enjoys quilting, scrapbooking and spending time with her family.

Sandra is the Triad's connection to the TNT program.  She has worked for LLS for over 5 years and enjoys the opportunity to meet each and every person who is interested in learning more about the program.  The Triad has a wonderful alumni group who continue to help the current participants reach their goals each session.  One of their fundraising motto is 'You have to ask for money in order to hear a yes or no'.  And the same is true for learning about the program.  She encourages you to take the step to learn more in order to know if the program is right for you.  The Triad welcomes you to the TEAM!
