The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training® (TNT) is the world's largest endurance sports training program.  TNT is designed to help you achieve your personal best while contributing to the mission of finding cures for blood cancers.

From beginners to veteran athletes, all are welcome to be a part of Team Mississippi. Make a difference by raising funds for blood cancer research and patient services in exchange for training and support.

Upcoming 2008 Fall Season Events

Sunday, September 14
Maui Marathon and Half Marathon (Maui, HI)   Point-to-point, from Kahului to Kaanapali on the island of Maui , this 26.2-mile course is recognized as one of the ten most scenic marathons in North America.  A major portion of the full marathon course runs within 50 feet of the cobalt blue Pacific Ocean. The half marathon starts and finishes in Whaler's Village.  Walkers welcome for the full and half.

Sunday, October 19 
Nike Women's Marathon, A Race to Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (San Francisco, CA)  The Nike Women's Marathon is a spectacular race course for both the full and half marathons; a tour of some of the most breathtaking sites in San Francisco.  The race kicks off in downtown Union Square, winding through the financial district past the Transamerica Building, then along the San Francisco Bay past Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Aquatic Park, Fort Mason, the Marina Green's Harbor, and more, while exposing breathtaking views of Alcatraz and The Golden Gate Bridge.  It then proceeds through the Presidio, along the shoreline, out the Richmond District to the "Great Highway".  The race will then continue down the Great Highway, through Golden Gate Park and then south for a circle around Merced Lake and back to the "Great Highway" where it will finish overlooking the incredible Pacific Ocean.

 For the Fall 2008 Season, we are organizing teams in the following areas:

  • Metro Jackson area
  • Mississippi Gulf Coast area
