Welcome to the Mississippi Chapter's Team In Training® (TNT) Web
site! We are so happy that you are visiting!
TNT is the world's largest endurance sports training program. The program
provides training to run or walk a full or half-marathon. As the largest
endurance sports training program in the world, we will provide you with
the experience of a lifetime, including:
- Personalized fitness training by certified
coaches for a period of four to five months
- Travel to a major marathon or half marathon
in an exciting location
- A supportive group of teammates
- The opportunity to make your athletic goals
a reality an unbeatable offer with great personal rewards!
In return, participants raise funds to be used in promting research and
providing direct aid to blood cancer patients right here in
Mississippi! As a member of Team In Training, you will be training to
complete an endurance event in honor of a Mississippi patient affected by
leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma. Your honored teammate will become the
inspiration in both your training and your fundraising.
From beginner to seasoned pro, TNT offers the opportunity to get fit, make
memories, and help save lives.

His name is Jaidan and he looks like any other adorable 3
year-old boy, playing with cars, trucks and his big
brother. But looks can be deceiving. Jaidan has been
undergoing treatment for acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL)
since he was 18 months old. When he was diagnosed with
blood cancer, it was beyond frightening. My cousin passed
away from leukemia, and all I could think of was, 'I'm
going to lose my baby.' The doctors explained that for ALL,
the prognosis is good. Still when your baby is in pain and
can't understand why, you just feel helpless. Jaidan is
responding well to treatment, with a little more than a
year to go. Thanks to research, we are fortunate.
When you think about participating in Team In Training,
think about our little boy and what your efforts will mean
to us and to hundreds of thousands of others battling blood
cancers.
