SuperJoey Marathon Honored Teammate Joey was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) on December 1, 2008 when he was just 4 years old. He has been in and out of the hospital for numerous spinal taps and many rounds of chemotherapy. Joey will be undergoing intense chemotherapy for the next 3 years and hospital stays have become the norm. Because he has been so brave through all of his treatments, he has taken on the name Super Joey and all of his family, friends and supporters call themselves the Super Gang! |

Lauri Marathon Honored Teammate Lauri was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) on September 5, 1995. She is now in remission! Lauri enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking and baking and helping her 10-year-old and 5-year-old nieces to become the best they can be! She also enjoys working out so someday she can walk a half marathon in honor of her father and in memory of her friend Kari. |
