Alumni Opportunities

*Applications for summer season 2010 mentors, mission mentor, special events mentor and triathlon training captain are now available.

Whether you were a Team In Training® (TNT) participant this year or 10 years ago, you know how special it was to make new friends and experience the magic of TNT.  Whether you rode your bike for 100 miles, completed a half or full marathon, finished a triathlon or hiked in a majestic destination, you know the journey was unforgettable.

As an alum, you are in a unique position, being familiar with both the challenges of fundraising and the demand of training and we need your help.  We have several opportunities for you to use your knowledge while benefiting the newest members of our TNT Family.

Mentor
As a mentor of TNT your mission is to provide the best support and encouragement for our athletes in the most positive manner possible.  Our collective goal is to provide an enjoyable atmosphere to assure that team members reach their fundraising goals and have a memorable experience. As a mentor you will bring past fundraising and training experience to help others and receive a discount off your personal fundraising goal.

Mission Mentor
Bring past TNT experience to help participants engage with honored heroes and keep the commitment to the mission at the forefront of team motivation.  You will serve as a liaison between staff and mentors and receive a small discount off the personal fundraising goal.

Special Events  Captain
Bring past TNT experience to help participants maximize their fundraising potential by assisting in group fundraising efforts and publicizing fundraising opportunities.  You will serve as a liaison between staff and mentors and receive a small discount off the personal fundraising goal.

Training Captain
Be a part of TNT again by signing up to the assist coaches in leading team trainings 1 to 2 times per week while also helping staff, mentors and patient honorees motivate participants and receive a small discount off your personal fundraising goal.  If you've ever considered coaching for TNT this is a great opportunity to learn what it's all about!

APPLICATIONS DUE: Wednesday, November 4 to Julie.Freniere-Gibson@lls.org

Rejoining the Team is a great way to bring back old memories, reconnect with old friends and continue to fight the battle against blood cancer.  For all returning alumni the registration fee will be waived and you will receive a special Alumni pin in recognition of your past journey with us.
