Whether you are a novice or an experienced athlete, Team In Training (TNT) is
for you! Your TNT coach will provide you with the training, information and
encouragement necessary to complete an endurance event. Participants who have
successfully completed the TNT program in the past will offer moral support and
fundraising advice. And your Honored Teammate, a local blood cancer survivor,
will motivate and inspire you as you train and raise funds for The Leukemia
& Lymphoma Society.
In return, you'll have the opportunity to help the Society succeed in its
mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve
the quality of life for patients and their families. Once you meet or exceed
your fundraising goal, the Society will provide you with airfare to your
event destination, hotel accommodations, race registration, pre-race pasta
party and post-race victory celebration.

Brenden was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) when he was just
three-years-old. He is currently going through maintenance therapy and
will continue this until February of 2010. He has been very healthy with
only one hospital stay in six months! Brenden likes to play outside with
his trucks and four-wheelers and ride his bike. He also likes to swing
and go down big slides in the park. His favorite movies are Spiderman and
Cars. Right now he is attending preschool and Sunday school every week.
