Honored Heroes are very special individuals who have battled, or are battling, leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.  Team In Training^® (TNT) participants train and race in honor of these extraordinary people.

An Honored Hero can be someone you know personally.  If you do not know someone whose life has been touched by a blood cancer, we will give you the unique opportunity to participate for a patient or survivor who has agreed to join TNT from our area.

So often people are asked to raise funds for a charity with very little understanding of how valuable their efforts are.  By honoring a member in their own community, and hearing their story firsthand, participants are able to understand the extreme value of their efforts.
