21 Years of Saving Lives...
The year 2009 will commemorate Team In Training's (TNT) 21st year of saving lives--one mile at a time. Since 1988, more than 390,000 TNT participants have raised more than $950 million for live saving cancer research and services to help blood cancer patients live longer and live better. Now, we're aiming for the $1 billion mark, and you can help make it happen!
Step Up to the Challenge
Look, we know that raising thousands of dollars and training to complete a half or full marathon, century ride, hike or triathlon is challenging, but we also know that you can be successful! In fact, we want to challenge you even further to go above and beyond your minimum fundraising goal and become a bonafide Maryland Fundraising Superstar! If you can raise $1,000 or more over the fundraising minimum for the event you have chosen, you will receive the following exciting incentives and special recognition:
A customized *long sleeve* "Maryland Fundraising Superstar" technical training shirt that will proudly display the Maryland Chapter slogan "Crabs Against Cancer," with your name prominently displayed on the Maryland Chapter's website. You'll stand out as a top fundraiser and all will recognize your support and dedication to finding cures for blood cancers.
Why Should YOU Step Up?
You will allow for more money to directly benefit LLS's mission. You will receive special recognition and incentives. You will help TNT reach the $1 billion mark this year. You will challenge yourself and feel an even greater sense of accomplishment!
What are you waiting for?
There are already plenty of you out there that have reached Maryland Superstar status and we salute you! Keep up the good work and understand how much we appreciate your noble efforts. We encourage each and every one of you to step up to this challenge. There is no need to contact us to get started -- all you have to do is set a personal goal above your fundraising minimum, add that to your fundraising website and start working toward it. We will be here every step of the way to help you reach that goal. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. What are you waiting for?
