Team In Training's triathlon program offers the opportunity to take on the challenge of swimming, cycling, and running an Olympic-distance triathlon and make a difference in the lives of an estimated 912,000 Americans living with blood cancers. Along with a customized-training program and expert coaching, participants will train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration.

Olympic Distance - LOWER MINIMUM
September 12, 2010 - Washington, DC
The Nation's Triathlon course is one of the most spectacular and athlete-friendly courses in the world winding past monuments, memorials and history throughout the Nation's Capital. Swim the most well-marked course through the mild Potomac River. Then transition to a very scenic and spacious single-loop bike course that is closed to vehicular traffic. Last, set out on foot as you run through history and the splendor that the city has to offer.
Having the start adjacent to the finish makes it easy for friends and family to hail your success. With so much to do after the race from sight-seeing to great local cuisine, this event isn't just a triathlon, it's a vacation destination.
Olympic Distance: Swim - .93 Mile; Bike - 25 miles; Run - 6.2 miles
You may have considered this triathlon last year, but with a new, lower minimum and having the race benefit LLS, there should be no question!
Nautica Malibu Triathlon
Classic* or International Distance
September 11 or 12, 2010 - Malibu, CA
One of the most popular races for both its ocean views and its celebrity competitors, this race sells out fast to the general public. Team In Training can still get you a spot! The course is competitive yet scenic as you swim in the refreshing Pacific Ocean, then bike an out-and-back course along picturesque Pacific Coast Highway finally running a different out-and-back course around the dunes of Zuma Beach. See you at the beach!
International Distance: Swim - .93 Mile; Bike - 25 miles; Run - 6.2 miles
Classic* Distance: Swim - .5 Miles; Bike - 18 miles; Run - 4 Miles
