Marathons & Half Marathons

Team In Training offers runners and walkers the opportunity to take on the challenge of a marathon or half-marathon and make a difference in the lives of an estimated 912,938 Americans living with or in remission blood cancers.

Along with a customized-training program and expert coaching, participants will train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration.

Team In Training (TNT) is currently recruiting walkers and runners for the following events. Please note that participation in a TNT event is subject to the local availability of group training and transportation arrangements. Please consult the TNT staff at your local chapter for additional details.

Carlsbad Half Marathon

January 24, 2010 - Carlsbad, CA

The marathon and half marathon courses are flat and fast - perfect for runners and walkers of all ability levels. The beautiful run with ideal running temps: 49-59F, will keep you refreshed all the way to the finish line!

LA Marathon - New Course!

March 21, 2010 - Los Angeles, CA

The LA Marathon has a Brand-new course! It has been said that the best marathons reflect the character of a city. For the first time, they're capturing the beauty of LA by running Stadium to Sea - Dodger Stadium to Santa Monica! The cool temps of March coupled with the hot stars in LA makes for a high-energy marathon!

This later event features the longest training schedule which is great for first-timers! Encourage your friends and family to join you along the course to cheer you! The new course is a rare breath of fresh air for Los Angeles!
