The Greater Los Angeles Chapter includes:                                         Central Coast, Santa Barbara County and Ventura County.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training® has trained more than 10,000 Southern California residents (including the Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties) to run or walk a marathon or half marathon; cycle a 100-mile century ride; or complete a triathlon.  All participants are involved in a lifesaving mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Use the links below and to the left of the page to navigate this site and learn more about The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and how Team In Training is saving lives...one mile at a time!

Contact the Greater Los Angeles Staff

"The endurance athlete shows the world that the boundaries and limitations of what we once thought existed, don't...  Except beyond the realm where we can not dream.  And for that reason, when we do an endurance event, we do it not just for ourselves, but for those around us, in hopes that they too will have a dream." -unknown

For more information about the programs offered by the Greater Los Angeles Chapter, contact Team in Training at 310-216-7600 or fill out our online Tell Me More form and a Campaign Manager from your area will contact you shortly.

Swim 1.5K, bike 40 more and then run 10K. For non-swimmer Valicity "Visa" Lattimore, who hadn't ridden a bike for years, it seemed impossible. Yet she completed her first Olympic-distance triathlon after training with TNT for just 15 weeks. The inspiration? Her son, William, now 9 years old, an acute lymphocytic leukemia survivor who says he's "thankful to be alive" and thankful to mom and everyone who participates in Team In Training.
