Marathons & Half Marathons

Team In Training offers runners and walkers the opportunity to take on the challenge of a marathon or half-marathon and make a difference in the lives of an estimated 1,012,533 people in the United States living with, or in remission from, leukemia, Hodgkin lymphoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma or myeloma.

Along with a customized-training program and expert coaching, participants will train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration.

Please note that participation in a TNT event is subject to the local availability of group training and transportation arrangements. Please consult the TNT staff at your local chapter for additional details.

The 2016 United Airlines NYC Half will take runners from around the city and the globe on a 13.1 mile tour of NYC. Led by a talent-packed roster of American and International elites, runners will stop traffic in Manhattan, from Central Park through Times Square to South Street Seaport.

  • Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend (January 17, 2016) - Choose your Destiny!  There's a run for Jedi Knights and Padawans of every age and skill level including the Star Wars Half Marathon, Star Wars 10K and Star Wars 5K, and the runDisney Kid Races.  Put yourself to the ultimate test and join the Star Wars Rebel Challenge combining the Star Wars 10K and Half Marathon for an out-of-this-world running adventure.  As Jedi Master Yoda says, Do or do not. There is no try!?"  So DO be a part of the Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend.
  • Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend (February 21, 2016) - Here's your chance to join the Disney Princess' in a "dream come true" weekend of majestic runs in the most magical place on earth. There'll be special magical course surprises, special Princess events, and a fun-filled party after the event to celebrate your run. Plus you'll take home an exclusive Finisher Medal celebrating Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend presented by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Best of all, your favorite Disney Princesses will cheer you on your way! 
  • Humana Rock n' Roll New Orleans (February 28, 2016) - Start downtown and run through the French Quarter, along streets lined with beautiful gothic-inspired homes, past Jackson Square and through City Park to your ultimate finish.
  • Puerto Rico Marathon & Half Marathon (March 13, 2016) - RACE IN PARADISE! This marathon and half marathon is the perfect "RUNcation"! The scenic course highlights Old San Juan's colonial streets and Spanish Forts, breezes along the Atlantic Coastline and finished with palm trees galore!
  • Star Wars Half Marathon - The Dark Side (April 17, 2016) - You will be running on Darth Vader's turf with the Emperor's white uniformed storm troopers cheering you on your way. Choose your alliance! Run for the light side or run for the dark side- and May the force be with you!

  • BMO Marathon Vancouver (May 1, 2016) - Named a Top Destination Marathon by and one of the world's most "exotic" marathons on CNN Travel, the BMO Vancouver Marathon is a Boston Qualifier that takes runners on a 42.2 kilometer (26.2 miles) adventure past beaches, through natural parks, and along Vancouver's bustling Seawall. 
  • Flying Pig Marathon (May 1, 2016) - It is a beautiful course, which "flies" along the streets of Cincinnati, Covington, Newport, Mariemount, Fairfax and Columbia Township. Our course presents a well-balanced, diverse tour of some the best neighborhoods in the area.
  • Tinker Bell Half Marathon (May 8, 2016) - Your Tinker Bell Half Marathon pixie-dusted race begins on Disneyland Drive where you'll pass under the Downtown Disney District on your way into Disney California Adventure Park. There you'll make your way through all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood Blvd, race down Route 66, and past breathtaking Paradise Bay. The race will travel down turn-of-the-century Main Street U.S.A., passing Pixie Hollow, home to Tinker Bell and her pixie pals, before it makes its way around the Rivers of America. After Disneyland Park, the race will cut through Downtown Disney by the Disneyland Hotel continuing on the City of Anaheim. You'll race through the enchanting, historic neighborhoods of downtown Anaheim, down the Anaheim Center Street Promenade and past Anaheim Ice on your way to toward City Hall. You'll make your way to a spectacular "Fairy" tale finish near Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel.
  • Rock 'n' Roll Seattle Marathon and Half Marathon (June 18, 2016) - The 2016 course is currently being finalized and will be officially released soon!
  • Mayor's Midnight Sun Marathon and Half Marathon (June 18, 2016) - Framed by the spectacular mountains all around the city and the forested trails along the course, the race offers breathtaking views of the nearby Alaska wilderness as it takes runners through local landmarks like Earthquake Park, Point Woronzof and the Tony Knowls Coastal Trail.
