Team In Training's cycling program offers the opportunity to take on the challenge of 100 miles and make a difference in the lives of an estimated 912,938 Americans living with blood cancers. Along with a customized training program and expert coaching, participants train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration. Looking for cycling inspiration? Follow two-time non-Hodgkin's lymphoma survivor and LLS supporter Danny Leonard's cycling trek across the United States on http://blog.dannysride.org. Fletcher Flyer Cycle Event June 6th, 2010 (100 mile century)
Great food, a large amount of support, and beautiful scenery are all hallmarks of this event. It offers a century ride that winds through the valleys of Western North Carolina, with just enough rolling climbs to keep you interested. Though it will challenge the experienced rider with its quick pace, it is not too difficult for the first-time century ride.
