Marathons & Half Marathons

Team In Training offers runners and walkers the opportunity to take on the challenge of a marathon or half-marathon and make a difference in the lives of an estimated 912,938 Americans living with or in remission blood cancers.

Along with a customized-training program and expert coaching, participants will train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration.

Team In Training (TNT) is currently recruiting walkers and runners for the following events. Please note that participation in a TNT event is subject to the local availability of group training and transportation arrangements. Please consult the TNT staff at your local chapter for additional details.

Walt Disney World^�Marathon Weekend
January 9-10, 2010 - Orlando, FL - Walk or run 13.1 or 26.2 miles

Take your pick of two incredible events happening over this fun-filled weekend. Choose to spend Saturday walking or running the half marathon, or take part in the full marathon on Sunday! Both events tour the most magical place on earth! The course itself is flat and fast and full of fun along the way, as this event takes runners and walkers through Epcot, Magic Kingdom Park, and Disney MGM Studios toward a magical finish. Invite family and friends to enjoy the excitement of Disney's parks, restaurants, and nightlife...all while making our dream and yours come true - a cure for all blood cancers!

P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon & 1/2 Marathon
January 17, 2010 - Phoenix, AZ - Walk or run 13.1 or 26.2 miles

This event is as flat and fast as they come, providing a great experience for first timers and record-breaking times for experienced athletes! The race start line is at Wesley Bolin Memorial Park in downtown Phoenix, with both races merging for one spectacular finish in downtown Tempe. You can expect to catch a glimpse of Arizona's best along your way to the fabulous post-race party at the finish line! From Bank One Ballpark and America West Arena, to towering Saguaro Cacti in breathtaking Papgao Park, to the renowned Arizona Biltmore and some of the most impressive golf courses in the world, you won't be disappointed.
