The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training® program is the world's largest endurance sports training program. Since 1988, more than 380,000 volunteer athletes have run or walk a marathon or half marathon; cycled a 100-mile century ride; or completed a triathlon to help to raise more than $900 million to support our mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Sign up for an Information Meeting in your area today to learn more about how you can join Team In Training and help us save lives...one mile at a time!

We are currently recruiting for these 2008 Winter Season Events:

*El Tour de Tucson-Tucson, AZ

*Honolulu Marathon-Honolulu, HI

*Walt Disney World Marathon & Half Marathon Weekend-Orlando, FL

*P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and 1/2 Marathon-Phoenix/Tempe/Scottsdale, AZ

Keegan was diagnosed with ALL on March 1, 2004. He faced this disease with grace and good cheer. He always focused on the positive things about his conditions. There are things he loved about having cancer—being an honoree for Team In Training is one of them!

Keegan loved being bald. He has a rather large head, and there was a lot of shiny real estate up top that captured the attention of everyone. Rather than hiding from staring children, he opened up to them and told them about his cancer.

Surrounded by people who cared about him, Keegan passed away on Tuesday September 12, 2006. Keegan has and will continue to inspire hundreds and maybe even thousands of people to compete in their first endurance event.
